In a deliberate move to create a well-planned, distinctive place that would enhance the area known as Old Germantown, Greenleaf put together a team comprised of some of the finest developers, architects, designers, and realtors around.
Greenleafıs development team is led by Antonio R. Bologna, FAIA, one of the visionaries behind the renowned Harbor Town and South Bluffs communities in Memphis. Tony has also been architect and development spearhead of numerous other groundbreaking projects, all noted for character, attention to detail, and sense of place. Bologna Consultants partnered with Teresa K. Corona of Corona Company for additional expertise in multifamily real estate and with Scott P. Bojko for program management.
Greenleaf's multidisciplinary design team was comprised of lead architects David M. Schuermann and Ken Hudson from Architecture, Inc., who collaborated closely with interior designer Amelia Carkuff of Carkuff Interior Design to conceive the extraordinary new floor plans and designer finishes. Landscape Architect Lissa Thompson of Ritchie Smith Associates developed the vision for the ³village common² and the landscape plans intermingling mature trees and shrubs with complementary new plantings.
The construction and extensive remodeling was handled by Patton & Taylor Enterprises and GreenScape vitalized the beautiful landscapes.
The development and construction of the six new units in Phase Two is handled by Greenleaf Homes, LLC, a company comprised of Bill McWaters, III and Ray Beliles. Ray is a Memphis attorney with over thirty years of experience is real estate transactions including residential development and construction. Ray is an associate member of the Memphis Area Home Builders Association.
Bill is the owner of McWaters Construction, which is an active member of the Memphis Area Home Builders Association, and participates in the association's one-year warranty program. His organization strives for professionalism from top to bottom, from his principals to office and construction personnel. In recent years, McWaters Construction has received letters of praise not only from thrilled homebuyers, but accolades from the building community as well. He is the recipient of several Vesta Home Show awards, including 2003 Best Special Feature and 2004 Best Exterior.
